AUXILOCK® Titanium anchors are the screw-in anchors available in diameter of 2.8 and 3.5mm with single and double loaded options. The anchor design incorporates a cortical thread to maximise pull-out strength in a cortical or hard bone. The anchor is designed for delivering its ultimate mechanical properties (pull-out strength, tensile strength, etc.) and ease-of-use.

Features

It is a self-tapping suture anchor mostly used in Bankart or SLAP surgeries.
It in turn minimizes the anchor slippage or breakage during the surgery.
The anchors are also available with needles which are ideal for mini-open shoulder instability repair procedures.
The drill guide and drill bit are provided in the instrument set for the accurate placement of the anchor.

Intended Use

Shoulder: Bankart Lesion Repair, SLAP Lesion Repair, Acromio-Clavicular Separation Repair, Capsular Shift or Capsulolabral Reconstruction, Deltoid Repair, Rotator Cuff Repair, Biceps Tenodesis.

Foot & Ankle: Medial/lateral Repair and Reconstruction, Midfoot Reconstruction, Hallux Valgus Reconstruction, Metatarsal Ligament Repair, Achilles Tendon Repair.

Elbow: Ulnar or Radial Collateral Ligament Reconstruction, Lateral Epicondylitis Repair, Biceps Tendon Reattachment.

Knee: Medial Collateral Ligament Repair, Lateral Collateral Ligament Repair, Posterior Obliqu Ligament Repair, Extra Capsular Reconstruction, Iliotibial Band Tenodesis, Patellar Ligament and Tendon Avulsion Repair.
